Hey, I’m Cris Brown

I am a wife, a mother of three young beauties, a registered holistic nutritionist, a culinary nutrition expert, a shuttle bus, an entrepreneur and founder of the ADHD Kids Nutrition Method but most of all, I’m the person that loves to empower others to take the nutritional journey for wellness.

As a Holistic Nutritionist, I love being the tool you choose to start making an effective, balanced lifestyle changes to your child’s health and the gripping ADHD symptoms. Together we explore nutritional myths, understanding key nutritional concepts, the effects food has on the body and the alternatives

…this means, you’re never alone, you don’t have to try and figure it out yourself, sift through all the mumbo-jumbo that’s only continuing you on the path of overwhelm and exhaustion!

After successfully crushing the ADHD symptoms of my own children, getting our lives back on track and watching them thrive… I knew this was it, this was my absolute PASSION to serve others

…and it turned into my MISSION to get ADHD back down to the tinnie tiny numbers it once was through a savvy program I’ve developed called the ADHD Kids Nutrition Method. This is where all the magic beings by empowering parents with the right tools to debunk the symptoms and fully support them each step of the way through proven nutritional savvy methods.

So who am I and why am I practicing Functional Nutrition?

Two children with the classic ADHD symptoms and a totally burnt out momma!

It was beyond hard. Every day I would wake up and promise myself that today would be better!

Today would be the day it all comes together!

Today I would be calm, collected and cool…

…sadly, that lasted about 10 minutes and I was back drowning in shame for yelling again.

Between the daily overwhelm and dreadful guilt, I truly hated my life… I know that sounds harsh! 

But maybe you can relate?

Continuous judgement from family, friends and school

My children’s inability to do their homework without massive meltdowns

Getting to school on time or doing anything on time for that matter

Repeating myself over simple instructions with blank stares or defiant NO’s in response

….and the bickering, fighting, yelling, screaming and tantrums…oh man

I didn’t sit idle during all of this, even though I wanted to live under a rock… I tried various therapies, IEP’s, on and off dietary modifications, essentials oils, supplements – you name it, I tried it.

But when all my hard work didn’t show great results, all that did was make me feel incapable, like I was drowning. Made me feel like I was being punished for something, and made me question if I or the children could live like this forever?

I would isolate myself from the world because I was too emotionally taxed and embarrassed to go ANYWHERE with my girls.

The way I was thinking had only led to the same poor results which affected my relationships and what I really wanted was to give them a full and happy life…

So first, after years of researching documents and papers, vigorous trail and flops, I invested in a coach because doing it alone clearly wasn’t working.

One of the first things we worked on was food…then the light bulb went on! There was a commonality that kept surfacing with the girls too…FOOD!

We didn’t eat that poorly, so I thought…but even some of the “healthy foods” were not okay and causing them issues.

So after going back to school to become a RHN, I started the girls with a clean energy jump start all around real foods, applied behaviour mapping techniques (this was a biggie), evicted the dirty energy by blocking neuro-nutrient disruptors, used my coach for support… A LOT and trained myself that the kitchen was actually my friend.

And even when I got push back from my children and husband…

I could follow through because I had all the tools to balance the BIG emotions which made them more responsive to the changes.

I never thought I would be able to follow through… between the picky eating, excessive fidgeting at meal times, the meltdowns, and their love for the word NO…

BUT I did and now I get to deliver the same awesomeness (without the trial and flop) to you.
