Do you have a favourite quote?

When I was struggling to keep my life together in the thick of all the ADHD uproars, I often used quotes to recenter myself (that’s code for keeping my sh!t together)

I mean, it wasn’t just the quotes, I also used breathing techniques, nutrition hacks and a host of other tools but the quotes were easy and I didn’t have to think because really, by mid-afternoon all my rationale thoughts were well out the door.

When I meet with clients, I ask them their favourite quotes and 99.9% of them don’t have a single one. 

So, when you or your child is surrounded by negative self-talk and a ton of resistance that is all too common with ADHD, circle back to a quote.

Don’t have one, use one of my top 5 until you find one that resonates with you.
